State-owned telecommunications company NetOne has dismissed reports circulating in some media outlets alleging that two of its senior executives are “on the run.”
In a press statement issued by the company’s Board and Management, NetOne described the claims as false and inconsistent with the professional standing of Chief Technical Officer Christopher Muchechemera and Chief Financial Officer Nyasha Nyambyuya.
The company confirmed that both executives remain in office and continue to execute their duties.
NetOne urged the public and stakeholders to disregard the allegations and encouraged media practitioners to verify information relating to the company and its officials through formal communication channels.
The statement emphasized the importance of responsible reporting and reaffirmed the executives’ ongoing presence and commitment to their roles within the organization.
