Delice Culinary Arts Academy has achieved a historic milestone after becoming the first institution in Zimbabwe to be officially registered with the LCCI Global Qualifications Board, an internationally recognised culinary and vocational standards body developed in Nepal.
This groundbreaking partnership places Zimbabwe on the global culinary map, giving local aspiring chefs access to internationally benchmarked training, assessment, and certification for the very first time.
In a statement, Delice Culinary Arts Academy Centre manager and Co-Director Ms Diana Maruta said the new affiliation will elevate the quality of culinary education in the country and create competitive opportunities for learners worldwide.
“This achievement opens international doors for our students. As the first academy in Zimbabwe to join the LCCI Global Qualifications family, we are proud to bring world-class standards to our local culinary industry,” the institution said.
The announcement comes as the academy opens enrolment for its January 2026 intake, which includes professional culinary courses and intensive short programs designed for both beginners and advanced learners.
With this recognition, students at Delice Culinary Arts Academy will now benefit from globally aligned training standards, advanced practical skill development, and certification that carries international credibility.
The new LCCI accreditation further strengthens Delice Culinary Arts Academy’s position as a leading centre of culinary excellence—now elevated to a status recognised and respected on the global stage.
Applications for January intake are now open.
