The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council has announced the release of the November 2025 Advanced level results. Candidates can access the Results portal from 1600hrs using the link https://results.zimsec.co.zw
There were 36 635 candidates who sat for the A level examin 2025. Of these, 36 282 wrote 2 or more subjects. 34 740 candidates obtained Grade E or better in 2 or more subjects translating to a national pass rate of 95.75%.
This is an increase of 1.17% from 2024, where the pass rate was 94.58%
Here is a Step-by-step guide to check the ZIMSEC A Level results online:
Step 1: Open the ZIMSEC Portal by visiting the official ZIMSEC Portal website using the correct link here.
Step 2: Register for an account. Click “Register as a New User.” Then, enter your details exactly as requested. Make sure you follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
Step 3: Confirm your registration. Next, check for any confirmation message on the portal. Some users may need to verify using prompts shown on screen.
Step 4: After registering, go back to the portal Home page. Then, locate the login section.
Step 5: Log in to your account using your username and password. If you already registered before, log in directly. If you forgot your password, use the reset option.
Step 6: Open the Results section. After logging in, the dashboard will appear. You should see the Results Portal menu options.
Step 7: Select Candidate Results. Click “Candidate Results” on the top menu.
Then, choose the correct examination level and year.
Step 8: View and save your results. Your results will display on the screen. Save them as a PDF if the option appears. You can also take a clear screenshot to keep them for future reference.
Step 9: Finally, log out after checking your results.
