Apostle Dr Eunor Guti, leader of ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries International, met President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House on Friday to outline the church’s development projects — including a plan to build 200 schools across Zimbabwe.
The initiative, aimed at boosting access to education, is set to complement government efforts to improve learning infrastructure nationwide. President Mnangagwa reportedly welcomed the plan, praising the long-standing role of faith-based organisations in national development.
Founded by the late Archbishop Ezekiel Guti, ZAOGA FIF has been active in building hospitals, universities, and other infrastructure, with the latest push marking one of its largest education drives.
The visit comes weeks after Dr Guti publicly distanced herself from links to the Mnangagwa–Chivhayo circle, even declining a gift from businessman Wicknell Chivhayo, whose high-profile philanthropy has drawn both praise and suspicion. Chivhayo, a close ally of the President, has faced public scrutiny over his government contracts and lavish spending.
